Cupcakes with Heart Shaped Sprinkles Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- Two large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup heart-shaped sprinkles

- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 35 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter until it is smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
- In three parts, add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the sprinkles in the shape of a heart.
- Fill the cupcake liners about two-thirds of the way with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before frosting and topping with more heart-shaped sprinkles.
