  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • One at a time, beat in the eggs, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Alternately mix the dry ingredients and the milk into the butter mixture.
  • Incorporate the blueberries.
  • Fill each muffin tin liner about two-thirds full with the batter.
  • Bake the cupcakes for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • Allow the cupcakes to completely cool before frosting them.
