Pink Frosting Cupcakes with Sprinkles Recipe

Pink Frosting Cupcakes with Sprinkles are a festive and fun treat that are ideal for birthdays, parties or any other occasion that calls for something sweet and colorful.

Ingredients

1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1/4 cup whole milk
Three egg whites
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 box white cake mix
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
sprinkles
Pink food coloring

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350° F.
(175 degrees C).
Cupcake liners should be used to line a muffin pan.
Combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and egg whites in a large mixing bowl.
Using an electric mixer, combine all ingredients until well combined.
Fill the cupcake liners about two-thirds full with the batter.
Bake for 18-20 minutes in a preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of a cupcake comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely after removing from the oven.
In a separate mixing bowl, cream the butter until it is smooth.
Gradually beat in the confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until the frosting is smooth and creamy.
Mix in a few drops of pink food coloring to the frosting.
Sprinkle sprinkles on top of the cooled cupcakes and frost with pink frosting.
