Chocolate Cupcake with Icing, Sprinkles and an Oreo Cookie Recipe
Chocolate Cupcakes with Icing, Sprinkles and an Oreo Cookie are a tasty and entertaining treat to make for any occasion. They're moist and chocolaty, with a creamy chocolate frosting, colorful sprinkles and a crunchy Oreo cookie on top.
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 3 eggs
- 1 can of chocolate frosting
- 12 oreo cookies
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cupcake liners should be used to line a cupcake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- Fill the cupcake liners about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake the cupcakes for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before serving.
- Chocolate frosting should be applied to each cupcake.
- Sprinkle rainbow sprinkles on top of the frosting.
- Press an Oreo cookie into the top of each cupcake gently.
- Serve and have fun.
